Wedding Reception at the Eglinton Arms Hotel

Fiona & Stephen Chambers wedding reception that was held at the Eglinton Arms Hotel in Eaglesham on the 4th October 2013.  It was a great night with a bit of music for everyone no matter your taste it was played for you.  From DJ Casper, to AC-DC, Abba to Bon Jovi..  I think you get what i mean..  We played music for all..

Seriously though the night started off with the introduction of the newly married couple and they danced their first dance to Take That – Rule the world.  Both of them looked a million dollars and the rest of the wedding party joined in and the party began.

The venue is a “Best Western” hotel, so privately owned and more personal to it’s guests.  I have played there a number of times over the years and don’t have a bad word to say about it.

Caroline and Keith Hutchison’s Wedding Reception was held on the 8th December 2012 at the Eglinton Arms Hotel in Eaglesham South Lanarkshire.

Since I have entertained there many times and know the management it’s always a smooth transition from the wedding breakfast to the evening reception.  It’s a room turnaround while the guests have a drink at the other lounge and all the venue staff and I know what needs done and in what order.

Once the quests were invited back in to the hall I announced the new Mr & Mrs, Caroline & Keith Hutchison in to the hall to cut the wedding cake.  This was a cheese cake, made up of various types of cheese that would be given out later on as part of the buffet.  One this was done we moved on to the formal first dance.  I announced the wedding party and guests to join in and this set the pace for the night ahead.
