Wedding Disco at the Seamill Hydro Hotel

Well what a day Geraldine & Michael Golfis had for their wedding day..   The weather was that good Michael ended up with sunburn on his face….!  Well they would have complained if the sun wasn’t out on the day…!!!  It was all held in the Seamill Hydro Hotel in Ayrshire on the 14th July 2011 and although it was also my birthday I decided to take the booking and entertain them that night.

The venue has a number of function halls and on the day the couple booked the Brisbane Suite.  It is a large hall with a large stage and was nothing short of spectacular.. The venue staff worked in unison and were very efficient, they were also very helpful and accommodating to me, which helps..!!!

Setting up the disco was great.  There was a side door that allowed me to set up on the stage while the curtains were closed and once dinner was over the curtains revealed the complete disco ready to go.  A lot better than having to do a quick turnaround..!!

First dance was about 8.20pm when I announced Geraldine & Michael on to the dance floor for the first dance.. “Bryan Adams – I’m Ready” calling the rest of the bridal party on to the floor half way through.  Those invited had a great night on the dance floor all night right up to Midnight when it was time to drink up and get on the bus that Geraldine & Michael had provided to take their guests home.

Lots of people approached me and said they had a great time and the bride and groom gave good feedback too…
